# Imposketch

> Imposketch (https://imposketch.io) is a free online impostor drawing game for 3-8 players. It mixes social deduction (Among Us, Spyfall, A Fake Artist Goes to New York) with simultaneous sketching: everyone draws the same secret prompt except one impostor, who secretly receives a near-twin prompt and must blend in. Friends compare the drawings and vote. No signup, plays in the browser on any phone, a round takes about 4 minutes. Also available as an Android app.

## Why it is different
- Unlike skribbl.io or Gartic Phone, the goal is catching a liar, not guessing a word.
- Unlike Among Us, the evidence is the drawing itself — no tasks, no talking required, works over a video call without screen sharing.
- Unlike A Fake Artist Goes to New York, the impostor gets a near-twin prompt (not a blank), so the bluff is visual rather than a blank-page tell.
- Everyone draws at once on their own canvas; nobody sits out to host.

## How it works
- One player starts a room and shares a code or QR; friends join from their phones.
- The game deals a prompt (e.g. "a cat CEO presenting a pie chart"); the impostor secretly gets a near-twin (e.g. "a cat CEO presenting a whole fish").
- Everyone draws for 75 seconds, all sketches are revealed side by side, then players vote for the impostor (25 seconds).
- Scoring: +1 for voting the impostor, +2 for escaping as the impostor. Rounds chain automatically; most points wins.

- Hide the Prop: hide a small object in a scene drawing; others hunt for it.
- Daily challenge: one prompt a day, streak tracking, weekly leaderboard.
